At Riddle's Elephant Sanctuary, Hank's status as the only Asian male at the facility was utilized for breeding and research. He was trained for semen collection to aid in artificial insemination procedures across the United States and for research to enable freezing of elephant semen. Hank, in addition to the location's numerous other bull elephants, also participated in temporal vapor research with Dr. Bets Rasmussen. The captive-born animal also naturally bred.

I eagerly anticipate associating with new individuals with an interest or history in elephants, elephant history and elephant record keeping. If you have further information regarding the animals or locations questioned in the article, please leave a comment or message me in an effort to complete their records for elephant historians.
