The following pictures were taken in 1987 at the Little Rock Zoo in Little Rock, Arkansas. At the time indicated, a single female Asian elephant resided at the zoo, Ellen.

    Thanks for your comment on the 'Dumbo' post. You're most welcome to share the information I researched. You'll need to change his name from 'Jumbo' on the elephant Database to DUMBO as he was named for the Disney Character from the animated movie. I have many many more elephant stories yet to come - a very long list. Great blog!! I'm a friend of Dan's he's a great guy he's on my FB friends list.
